Book Review

Briony Rose is a fairy born with only one wing and cannot fly, and is mocked and shamed for it. Then she discovers that she has an exceptional singing voice, and everyone else notices too! Briony learns that it's okay that she's not like everyone else, because she's got her own talents that more than make up for it.

This book is a wonderful lesson about coping with bullying and realizing your own uniqueness. Children will love the bright, beautiful illustrations and the bouncy rhyme scheme, which would make this a great book for parents to read aloud to kids. The Fairy Who Sings would make an excellent addition to any young reader's collection.
