Book Review

This absolutely adorable book will delight young readers who love animals and stories of friendship. In this story, we follow Perry the Porcupine on a journey of all different types of hugs from all of his friends, big and small. Children will learn that people have a variety of ways to show affection, as well as the fact that it is just as important to love themselves as much as their friends and family love them!

This book is written perfectly to be read by or to children. The rhyme scheme used is quite catchy, and wonderful, colorful illustrations perfectly carry the story. I can wholeheartedly recommend Porcupine Hugs as a perfect little book for young children!

About Belle Brown

Belle Brown is a mother of an energetic and a very inquisitive "purple princess" who loves all sorts of stories. Her little kid's insatiable appetite for learning new things inspired her to write her first book series, Patrick the Piglet's Learning Adventures.

She wanted to bring the power of learning through storytelling with her writing. Each of her books develop children’s cognitive abilities, help parents bond with their child, and nurture a lifelong love for reading.
