Book Review
When Dana is little, it's cute when she sucks on her thumb. When she's six years old and still doing it, however, it's not so cute anymore, but try as she might, she just can't stop. Then her mom comes up with an idea-- every day Dana doesn't suck her thumb, she can put a sticker on a special calendar chart, and if she can make it an entire week she gets a price! Will Dana succeed in breaking the habit for herself?
This book is a cute story about perseverance that children will appreciate if they've had trouble keeping their thumbs out of their mouths. The bright, colorful artwork make it easy for young ones to follow along. I can highly recommend Dana's Finger is Set Free to any parent looking for a way to get their kid to stop sucking their thumb.
